Monster Matcha Cups

🤗This MONSTER MATCHA CUP is so fab for a filling snack - but why MATCHA ? • The antioxidant component in matcha is epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) found in all green teas that has been associated with many benefits (see previous posts), and matcha also contains caffeine which has also been associated with benefits in moderation. A very recent study has shown that perhaps due to these components, matcha can INCREASE FAT BURNING in females who consume 1g of it before taking a 30 minute brisk walk (Williams et al. 2018). It appears to be a pretty good and easy study so we liked it and dug the matcha out for these. We’ve measured everything in tablespoons today because scales on the blink. •

8 tblsp desiccated coconut 2 med. organic eggs 2 tsp matcha 1 tblsp cacao liquor drops 1 tsp stevia leaf powder (could be maple syrup, monkfruit extract, honey, xylitol, erythritol, 1/2 banana, etc.) • 😃Mix all together, leave 12 cacao liquor drops aside (monster eyes). Add to cupcake cases within muffin tin. Bake at 180C oven for 12 mins. 🤩Add cacao liquor drops to your cups when still hot, pushing them in gently until they melt a little. • These filling little monsters are a great breakfast or mid-morning hit that will really keep you going and satisfied. 🧚‍♀️#yourewelcome #nutrition #tenaday #herbalhealth #nutritionaltherapy #nutritionaltherapist #balancore #balancorehealth #sirtfoods #organichealth #wellness #innerwellbeing #wellnesscoaching #holistic #functionalmedicine #fxmed #fxmedscotland #happinesshabits #startahabit #nutritionistscotland #nutritionistedinburgh #edinburghnutrition #mummyhealth #newmumfood #paleo #keto #glutenfreebaking #glucosebalance #growyourown #antioxidantrich #matchamadness #matcha #egcg #monstercup
