
Beautiful Balance Balls

These cacao-rich beauties are the absolute best for a nut-free, protein and omega rich, calming treat. They support hormone production and balance through their ranges of omega fatty acids, whilst providing excellent fibrous hulls for beneficial gut microbes and blood sugar control. Their cacao-base provides an endless sea of properties, from the beautifully gut and immune boosting polyphenol antioxidants such as epicatechin, known for its additional roles in supporting muscle growth and cognitive health.
Here is a quick recipe to make these Beautiful Balance Balls:
1/4 cup organic cacao OR Cacao Protein powder (I love @VivoLife Perform Plant Protein )
1/4 cup ground flax
1/2 cup sunflower and pumpkin seeds
3 pitted dates (if using medjool then you only need 2!)
1 banana
1 tblsp un-sulphured dessicated coconut
Add the seeds to a blender and blintz until ground. Add all other ingredients except coconut and blend until sticky. Roll into balls and then roll in the coconut (can be sesame seeds or shaved chocolate too!).
Best refrigerated before serving.
