WHAT IS NUTRITIONAL THERAPY?

 

Nutritional Therapy is an evidence-based, functional medicine practice that supports an improvement in and/or maintenance of good health. It sees the body as one interconnected network of systems, searching for the root cause of health concerns rather than treating the concerns topically or acutely.

 

WHAT DOES A CONSULTATION INVOLVE?

Charlotte always aims to drive the improvement of your wellbeing through specific dietary changes in terms of food, menus and programs, as well as movement and lifestyle guidance. If you are suffering from any wellbeing concerns, a consultation is suitable for you. Examples of common concerns are:

  • Body-balance & body-fat (low muscle mass, misalignment, excess bodyfat, underweight)

  • Sleep problems (insomnia, restless sleep, trouble falling asleep, trouble waking) 

  • Gut & digestion  (heartburn, indigestion, bloating, gas, IBS, constipation, diarrhoea)

  • Skin, Hair, Nails (ageing, dry skin, acne, rashes, psoriasis, thinning hair) 

  • Energy & immune function (frequent colds or infections, fatigue, energy fluctuations)

Charlotte's analysis also includes a review of your liver, joint health, thyroid, adrenal function, hormone balance, environmental toxins and pollution, stress, sleep and mood, and covers any age group including specific populations such as:

WOMEN: pregnant, nursing/lactating, peri-menopausal, menopausal, teenagers, ageing population, sportswoman.

MEN: teenagers, middle-aged, ageing, sportsman.

HOW DOES A CONSULTATION WORK?

 

Charlotte assesses the body's current symptoms and state through detailed questionning and also refers to your G.P. and/or to functional testing labs to TEST any outlying areas of concern. She reviews your diet and lifestyle to understand which elements may be impacting your wellbeing related to your health concerns, addressing them through proposing REALISTIC dietary changes, supplements and lifestyle updates.

 

WHAT DO YOU GET?

You leave the session with your diet & lifestlye actions along with supplement recommendations. If you opt for a Program, you will receive follow up actions within 7 days.

One-off 90 minute consultation delves into your concerns, detailed health, lifestyle and food history. You receive a detailed action plan for food & lifestyle, testing & supplement recommendations.

12 weeks of personal coaching & support. As many consultations as you need, updates to menus, food/life actions and ongoing whatsapp 1-1, 9am-2pm Mon-Thurs.
