Milk over water? Perhaps so...

Ask me yesterday and I wouldn't have believed I'd be writing that I am a fan of milk-based nutrition, especially for rehydration purposes.

But this study may be the start of something. 7 active men undertook exercise until they reached a dehydration status of -2% of their body mass.

Not only did milk rehydrate better than both electrolyte water and water, it also increased blood electrolytes more than the other solutions...Here's to the lovely (grass-fed, happy) cow!
